The Artisans, Our Partners
Soko Rafiki works with artisans from Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda and Uganda. Colorful bags and baskets are offered from Kenya as well as carved and painted soapstone, woven rugs, wood carvings, dolls and much more. Our friends in Tanzania design beautiful beaded products, carve figurines from the finest wood and make soap from natural ingredients. Potters from Rwanda work in cooperative fashion to design and create pots, vases and other lovely designs. Very unique dolls are also made in Rwanda. Uganda is home to clay potters who made cookware and serving pieces that are made from the red clay that is unique to their country.
